Buteyko ("the App") is a breathing exercise app developed for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
Data Storage
All data created by the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. This includes:
- Your name (used only for personalized greetings)
- Breathing session history (exercise type, duration, date)
- Control Pause (CP) test scores
- Your preferences (daily goal, notification settings)
None of this data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Data Collection
We do not collect any data. Specifically:
- No analytics or tracking SDKs
- No advertising identifiers
- No crash reporting services
- No user accounts or authentication
- No server-side storage of any kind
In-App Purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and one-time purchases) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple and is never accessible to us. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles purchase data.
Notifications
The App may request permission to send local notifications to remind you of practice sessions and CP tests. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any external servers.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since no data is collected from any user, no special provisions are necessary.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Since the App collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
